20 Years in the Biopharmaceutical Industry

Founder and CEO Elaine Richardson has spent 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry at several companies including Pfizer, Amgen, G.D. Searle, Sanofi-Synthelabo (now Sanofi-Aventis) and Forest Research Insitute.

Elaine began her career as a Clinical Research Associate and throughout her career was promoted into positions of increasing responsibility. She was previously Director, Clinical Research Operations at Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Senior Director, Clinical Development at Forest Research Institute a subsidiary of Forest Laboratories, Inc., and most recently, Vice-President Clinical Operations at Indigo Pharmaceuticals in New York City. Elaine has successfully managed CROs, vendors, and patient recruitment firms. She has successfully led large multi-disciplinary teams, managed Clinical Operations departments, and participated in global strategic and regulatory discussions. She also has experience managing relationships with co-development partners U.S. and ex-U.S., and has a very good understanding of the international clinical trials arena. Elaine’s strong background and experience in all matters clinical, her vision of what it takes to successfully build and manage teams and relationships, as well as her deep understanding of global project management issues, makes her uniquely qualified to partner with you on your drug development efforts. She has also been a sought after speaker at several industry conferences and has authored and co-authored articles for industry-related publications.
